The Franklin Farmers' Market has a strong sense of involvement with the community around it. We support our community in a variety of ways ranging from donations of fresh food to charitable organizations , to providing a place that helps sustain the livelihood of Tennessee agriculture. In 2004, the producers that make up the Market donated over 39,000 pounds of fresh food to Graceworks Ministries, which distributed the food to the needy throughout the community.

The Franklin Farmers' Market has all the good stuff you crave because of what it is:
A real farmers' market. A market made up of family farmers, selling fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers and farm goods. There's no trucked-in produce from Florida or out west. These are local farmers, selling what they have grown, as it ripens during Tennessee's long growing season. And because it is a seasonal market, the variety of veggies and goods fresh from the farms increases and changes each week.

However, the Franklin Farmers' Market does more than just satisfy your taste buds. It helps to keep Tennessee's beautiful farmlands green and growing. The non-profit Franklin Farmers' Market organization believes that local family farms can remain successful with support from the market to stay productive. Additionally, the market works to educate about the significance of farming in Middle Tennessee. Planning for the future of agriculture is just as important as planning for urban development. By doing so, both the economic and environmental structures of Middle Tennessee communities become stronger.

The Franklin Farmers' Market is open for the season each Saturday morning, 8am until Noon, through October. You'll find the market just behind The Factory, at the corner of Franklin Road and Liberty Pike in Franklin Tennessee.
